The First Noel
The first Noel the angel did say
Was to certain poor shepards in fields as they lay:
In fields where they lay a keeping their sheep
On a cold winter's night that was so deep.

Born is the King of Israel.
They looked up and saw a star
Shining in the east beyond them far:
And to the earth it gave great light
And so it continued both day and night.
まきびとひつじを 守れるそのよい
たえなるみ歌は 天（あめ）よりひびきぬ
Makibito hitsuji o, Mamoreru sono yoi
Tae naru miuta wa, Ame yori hibikinu
喜びたたえよ 主イエスは生まれぬ
Yorokobi tatae yo, Shu IESU wa umarenu
仰げばみ空に きらめく明星（あかぼし）
よるひるさやかに 輝きわたれり
Aoge-bami sora ni, Kiranuku akaboshi
Yoru hiru sayaka ni, Kagayaki watareri
